Mrs. Fred Osborn, Milton Junction, who had not been well for some time, died in Beloit Municipal hospital last Saturday. She had been home from Mercy hospital for a while and on Mar. 2nd was taken to the home of her daughter, Mrs. Robert Hanaman, Beloit. She became worse last Thursday and then entered the Beloit hospital. Dorothy, daughter of William H. and Madeline Hamilton Coon, was born in Beatrice, Neb., June 28, 1887. When she was six she came to Milton to live with her grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Horace Hamilton. On June 10, 1909, she married Fred E. Osborn and they have resided in Milton Junction since then. Mrs. Osborn was a member of the Woman's Relief corps, the Royal Neighbors of America and the Milton Junction Firemen's auxiliary. She is survived by her husband and three children; Mrs. Hanaman of Beloit, Earl Osborn of the Janesville police department and William Osborn at home; a sister, Mrs. Josephine Clarke, Milwaukee; a brother, James Coon, Michigan City, Ind.; three grandchildren and other relatives. Her parents, a sister and three infant children preceded her in death. Funeral services were held at 2:30 o'clock Tuesday in the Milton Junction Methodist church with Rev. W. S. Carr officiating. Kenneth Babcock gave the song service accompanied by Mrs. Norman Chatfield at the piano. Burial was in Milton Junction cemetery with Paul Rhode and Ray Anderson of Madison, Hosea Carey of Janesville, Jens Everson, Lawrence Astin and Theo. Odenwalder acting as pallbearers.

Funeral services for Fred Earl Osborn, 68, Milton Junction, fire marshal and township constable, were held Sunday afternoon in the Osborn home and at the Milton Junction Methodist church, with Rev. W. S. Carr officiating. Mr. Osborn died Wednesday afternoon in Beloit Municipal hospital. He had been in failing health for several months. He was associated with the American Telephone and Telegraph company, the Wisconsin Bell and the Milton-Milton Junction telephone company. He was a member of the Milton Junction Methodist church and the Masonic lodge. Mr. Osborn and Myrtle Waufle were married Feb. 20, 1902. She died Dec. 20, 1907. He was married to Dorothy Coon June 9, 1909, and she preceded him in death March 9, 1946. He is survived by three children, William Osborn, Milton Junction, Earl Osborn, a Janesville police officer, and Mrs. Robert Hanaman, Beloit, a sister, Mrs. Eva Kemmerling, Janesville, and four grandchildren. Burial was in the Milton Junction cemetery with Masonic rites. The Masons and firemen attended the funeral in a body. Pallbearers were Alexander Paul, P. G. Winch, Charles Pratt, Karl Bauman, Kenneth Austin, and Fred Albright. The funeral was conducted by Phelps Funeral home.
