At Leonardsville, N. Y., Nov. 28th, 1874, Mrs. Nancy Spaulding, mother of A. B. Spaulding, aged 84 years. Sister Spaulding has been for many years a worthy member of the First Seventh-day Baptist Church of Brookfield, and adorned her profession of faith in Christ by exhibiting in all the walks of life those generous purposes and activities which characterize a conscientious and well-ordered Christian life. Her sufferings for some time previous to her death were very severe, but were born with marked patience and Christian trust. She leaves to the son and daughter, who have been unfaltering in their affectionate care for her, and to her many friends, the comforting assurance that in their loss she is to realize infinite gain.
