Vernice Diedrick, 68, of 332 Golden Lane, died Monday, Feb. 5, at Mercy Hospital following a long illness.
She was born Dec. 10, 1910, at Hebron, the daughter of Will and Flora Hagedorn Hudson, and married William Diedrick, Aug. 30, 1941, at Helenville. The couple then moved to Milton. Mr. Diedrick died in 1972.
Mrs. Diedrick was a member of the American Legion Auxiliary and Mary Circle of the Methodist Church.
Survivors include two sons, Thomas, at home, and William, DePere; two daughters, Mrs. James Singkofer, Milton, and Mrs. Fred Severt, West Bend; five brothers, William of Richmond, Wayland, of Milton, Charles, of Edgerton, Franklin, of Brookfield, and Daniel, of Cheyenne, Wyoming; three sisters, Mrs. Grace Robb, Mrs. Josephine Bronson, and Mrs. Gladys Gray, all of Milton; and six grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held today, Feb. 8, at 1:30 p.m. at Albrecht Funeral Home with Rev. Virgil Holmes officiating. Burial will be in Lake View Cemetery, Fort Atkinson.
