Albion - Mrs. Ira D. Humphrey, Albion, died in the Edgerton Memorial hospital Sunday night after several months' illness. She is survived by her husband; one sister, Mrs. Irma Slagg, Albion; two step-brothers, Ellsworth Ayres, Two Harbors, Minn., and Elton Ayers, of Missouri; and several nieces and nephews. Funeral arrangements have not been made.

Edgerton - Ira D. Humphrey, 76, Albion, died Saturday morning in Edgerton Memorial hospital after a short illness. Born in Wisconsin April 14, 1875, the son of Andrew and Laura (Grippen) Humphrey, he owned and operated the Albion feed mill for many years. For the past few years he had done carpentry and painting.
He was married to Maude E. Clifton on June 30, 1903. She died Sept. 17, 1921, and he later married Maude I. Crandall on June 8, 1923. She died March 14, 1943.
He was a member of the Seventh Day Baptist church of Albion, and Fulton Masonic lodge No. 69.
Survivors are his sister-in-law, Mrs. Irma Slagg, Albion, and several nieces, nephews and cousins. Services will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday at the Seventh Day Baptist church, Albion, the Rev. Kenneth Van Horn officiating, with burial in Evergreen cemetery. Masonic rites will be held at the grave.
Friends may call at the Jones funeral home until 10:30 a.m. Tuesday when the body will be removed to the church.
