John B. Gallup, 71, died at 7:15 p.m. Friday in his home, 520 North Bluff street. He was born in Mauston, Juneau county, in 1855.
Besides his widow, Mrs. Louise Gallup, Mr. Gallup is survived by one son, Jeston O. Gallup, Janesville, and five daughters, Mrs. J. C. Hauser, Lancaster, Mrs. Rudy Brooks Hill, Winnetka, Ill., Marion, Beatrice and Marjorie Gallup, all of Janesville.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Monday in the Whaley funeral parlors, with the Rev. Henry Willmann, Trinity Episcopal church, officiating. Burial will be in Oak Hill cemetery.
