Funeral services for Mrs. Flora E. Clark, 87, of Little Genesee were held Monday afternoon at 2 o'clock at the S.D.B. Church in Little Genesee.; The Rev. Harley Sutton, Pastor officiated. Burial was made in the Wells cemetery there.
Mrs. Clark who died very suddenly Saturday (June 29th) at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Grace Sanford of Little Genesee, is survived by two sons: Lester B. Clark of Olean, Virgil A. Clark of Los Angeles; three daughters, Mrs. Grace Sanford, Mrs. Leslie (Nina) Bliss and Miss Anna Clark, all of Little Genesee; six grandchildren; a brother R.E. Barber of Portville and a sister, Mrs. Dora Maxson of Little Genesee and four grandchildren. A son, Rowland J. Clark of Shinglehouse died April 25, 1940.
Flora E. Clark was born at Ceres, Penna., January 21, 1853, a daughter of Rowland and Sylvia Main Barber. She was married to Horace Benson Clark on March 18, 1876. The couple moved to Little Genesee about 58 years ago. Following the death of Mr. Clark in 1924, Mrs. Clark had made her home with her daughter, Mrs. Sanford. She had been a member of the Little Genesee Seventh Day Baptist Church for 56 years.

Flora E. Barber Clark was born at Ceres, Pa., January 21, 1853, and died at her home in Little Genesee, June 29, 1940. Her parents were Rowland and Sylvia Main Barber.
She was married to H. Benson Clark March 18, 1876. She is survived by three daughters, Mrs. Grace Sanford, Mrs. Nina Bliss, and Miss Anna Clark of Little Genesee; two sons, Lester Clark of Olean, and Virgil Clark of California; six grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; one brother, R. E. Barber of Portville, N. Y.; and one sister, Mrs. Dora Maxson of Little Genesee. She joined the Seventh Day Baptist Church at Little Genesee by Letter fifty-six years ago.
Funeral services were held by Pastor Harley Sutton and burial was in the local cemetery. H. S.

Horace Benson Clark, youngest and last of the children of Jesse Clark to be called away, was born in Plainfield, Otsego County, N. Y., April 3, 1851, and passed away at his home February 18, 1924, having attained the good old age of 72 years, 10 months, and 15 days.
While a young lad he moved with his parents to Leonardsville, N. Y., and lived there until he was a young man.
When about twenty years of age he was baptized and united with the Leonardsville Church, and about forty years ago he brought his membership to the Little Genesee Seventh Day Baptist Church and has been a faithful member to this church since.
Mr. Clark as a young man, spent a part of three years in the early seventies attending Alfred University.
When married he lived in Barbertown, Pa., coming to Little Genesee in 1881, and has lived here since.
He leaves to mourn his loss: his wife; six children; two nephews, Rev. H. D. Clark, formerly of Battle Creek, Mich., and Rev. Alden Collins, a Presbyterian Minister, of Lafayette, N. J.; also two nieces, Miss Harriet Sherman, of New London, Conn., and Miss Grace A. Clark, of Syracuse, N. Y.; also other relatives and a host of friends.
Farewell services were held February 21, 1924, in the Seventh Day Baptist Church in Little Genesee, the pastor of the church in charge. Interment was in the Well's Cemetery. G. D. H.
