G. Howard, son of Howard and Celestia Durham Davis, was born August 1, 1897, in Verona, N. Y., and died May 29, 1946.
He had lived most of his life about Oneida and was married July 1, 1920, to Miss Iva Davis, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Thomas C. Davis. He was a faithful member of the Verona Seventh Day Baptist Church and will be greatly missed by his host of friends.
Close survivors are his widow; a daughter, Mrs. Helen Bartholomew; and a brother, Varian G.
Funeral services were held at the Verona Seventh Day Baptist church, conducted by his pastor, Rev. Herbert L. Polan. Burial was in the Rathbunville Cemetery. H. L. P.
