Notes for Lela Winifred BEEBE
Census: 1880 Brookfield, Madison Co., New York: age 4

Did I tell you that I have Lela Winifred obit? I got it from my dad's sister Susan Teressa Beebe Stevens. It is her birth card so the spelling has to be right. Date of birth is Aug. 20th, 1874 in Earlville. Lela was married in Earlville at her home on Aug. 29, 1897 and moved to Union Hill, NY where Charles was from. But originally he was from Earlville, NY so don't know when he moved to Union Hill. According to the obit, Lela and George remained in Union Hill till 1913 when they moved to Hempstead. She died in a Mineola hospital Sept.24, 1927 and the body was shipped to Earlville. Services were held at the Foster Chapel. Lela was 54 and died following an operation at the hospital. She leaves behind 2 children Louise Price of Boston and Raymond of Hempstead. I have nothing on them yet.1101
