STOUGHTON – Charlie A. Arnold, age 81, of Stoughton, died Thurs., April 22, 1993, at the Skaalen Sunset Home. He was born Feb. 2, 1912, in Rock County, the son of the late Harry and Grace (Hudson) Arnold. He graduated from Milton High School, attended Whitewater College, and farmed near Whitewater.
He is survived by his wife, Ruth of Stoughton; 3 sons: Richard (Audrey) Arnold of Waukesha, Dean (Anne) Arnold of Evansville, and Robert (June [or Jane]) Arnold of Waukegan, IL, 6 grandchildren; 4 great-grandchildren. Charlie is also survived by 2 sisters, Eva Robertson and Myra (Irving) Myklejord; 2 brothers, Floyd (Betty) Arnold, and Duane (Elsie) Arnold; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Mon., April 26, at the United Methodist Church, 525 Lincoln, Stoughton, with Rev. David Sharpe officiating. Burial will be in Milton Lawns Memorial Cemetery in Janesville. Friends may call at the church on Monday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of services. Memorials may be made to the Stoughton United Methodist Church. Olson-Holzhuter Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
