  Lynn S. "Sie" Astin, 72, of 311 Golden Lane, Milton, died Saturday night at Edgerton Memorial Community Hospital, Edgerton, after a six month illness.
  He was born June 27, 1907, at Whitewater, the son of Shirley E. and Lottie Mabel Rockwell Astin, and was married to Leora Alvina Sharpe Sept. 4, 1929, in Milton Junction.
  Mr. Astin had been a resident of Milton Junction since a young child, and the owner-operator of The Spot tavern for many years, until retiring April 1972.   He had been involved in businesses on Milton Junction's main street for 24 years.   He was well known in local bowling leagues.
  Surviving are his wife; two sons, Malcolm and Albert, both of Milton; five grandchildren; a sister, Mrs. Philip (Mabel) Hull of Marco Island, Fla.; nieces and nephews.   He was predeceased by his parents, four brothers, Lawrence, Elmer, LeRoy, and George; two sisters, Rosetta and Mrs. Arthur (Gertrude) Fredrick, all of Milton.
  Funeral services were held at 1:30 p.m., Wednesday, Feb. 6, at Albrecht Funeral Home.   Burial was in Milton Lawn Cemetery, Janesville.

  Mrs. Leora A. Astin, 74, of 311 Golden Lane, Milton, died Saturday, Jan. 14, in Edgerton Extended Care Facilities.
  Born July 28, 1909. in Evanston, Ill., the former Leora Sharpe moved to Milton Junction in 1919 and marred Lynn "Sie" Astin on Sept. 4, 1929.   He died Feb. 2, 1980.
  Mrs. Astin established the first beauty shop in Milton Junction and operated it from her home for 35 years, until retiring because of ill health.   She was a charter member of the Milton Business and Professional Women's Club, Clerk of the Milton Junction State Graded School Board, a member of Rebekah Lodge #26 and a past Noble Grand, and a member of Faith United Methodist Church.
  Surviving are two sons, Malcolm and Albert, both of Milton; five grandchildren; one great-grandchild; one sister, Mrs. Bernard Marquart, Richmond; and two brothers, Russell Sharpe, Janesville, and Rev. Wesley Sharpe, Niagara; and an aunt, Mrs. Arie Peterson, Clinton.
  Funeral services were held Wednesday at Faith United Methodist Church with Rev. Virgil Holmes and Rev. Wesley Sharpe officiating.   Pallbearers were Richard Sharpe, Steven Sharpe, Phillip Peterson, Gordon Marquart, Gerald Fredrick, Nephews; and John Manske.   Burial was in Milton Lawns, Janesville.
