In Berlin, Wis., Aug. 31st, after a lengthy and distressing illness of several months duration, Mrs. Nancy, wife of Dea. Charles Hubbell, aged 35 years.
Sister H. professed faith in Christ twenty-one years ago last January, and was baptized by Eld. Stillman Coon, and united with the 1st Seventh-day Baptist Church in Alfred.   She subsequently removed to Wisconsin; settled in this place, and was one of the 33 who covenanted together at the organization of the Berlin Church.   She has ever been a faithful, earnest follower of the Saviour.   Her prayers, exhortations, and counsels will not soon be forgotten.   In a word, she being dead, yet speaketh.
She leaves an afflicted husband, and an only daughter, to mourn her departure.   Her funeral was numerously attended on the 2d Sept., and a sermon preached by the writer, from Philippians i, 23 - "For I am in a strait betwixt two, having a desire to depart, and to be with Christ; which is far better."   "Gone but not lost."     J. M. T.
