Welcome to the Fleenor and Hattabaugh Family database. This site is dedicated to the descendants of Johannes Flinner, his wife Anna Minnick, and their children Adam, Elisabetha, Nicholas, Margaretha, Gasper, and Maria Catharina who arrived in Philadelphia on November 7, 1754, and descendants of Jacob Flinner who may have been born enroute, and brothers John and Michael Flinner born in Bucks Co., PA.
It is also dedicated to the Hattabaugh Family researchers who descend from George Hedebough/Hattabough/Hattabaugh and his wife Mary Koiner/Coynart/Keinadt of PA, VA and IN, descendants of Jacob Hattebach who arrived in Philadelphia September 15, 1749 and later settled in DE. where the name was Hadabuck and then Hattabaugh, and descendants of the two Hattenbach immigrants, James Michel and Johann George, one of whom may have been our George Hattabaugh's Father. James and Johann George arrived in Philadelphia September 23, 1752.
It is my hope that this site will become a central database for the many researchers who have been sharing their information on our research site, and for those seeking to make their own connection to these families. Though Flinner is a surname still in use, it is not used by the descendants of our particular group. Names used by our family are: Flener, Fleener, Fleaner, and Fleenor. In one very early listing in Washington Co., VA. it is listed as Fluner. The Hattabaugh family descendants about whom we currently have knowledge, use the surname Hattabaugh.
This site will contain old photos, gedcoms, and research data contributed by the many hard-working members of the AfterImage research website we operate at MyFamily.com. More current photos, information queries and responses, speculative data, and family reunion planning will be available only on the AfterImage site. Those interested in that site should contact me. We welcome new members, but it is a private site to which you must be given a password.
This site will be constantly changing as new data is made available on the dozens of related family lines. Check back often!
God Bless You and Your Family. Janice
