Alexander Thomas Niven BAIN (known as 'Niven'), son of James BAIN and Janet Wood Watson PATERSON, was born on 1 June 1872 in Kilfinan.145,147 He married Margaret Mabel STILES on 11 November 1931 in Winnipeg, Manitoba, British Columbia.148 He died on 14 December 1949 in New Westminster, Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada aged 77.149

Charles John PATERSON, son of Charles Alfred PATERSON and Jane Maria GRAY, was born on 8 October 1892 in Egmore, Madras, India.163 He was christened on 3 November 1892 in Madras, India as an infant.164 He married Ada May REID on 10 February 1917 in Torquay, Devon, England.165 He died on 16 June 1971 in Edinburgh, Midlothian, Scotland.38,51
