EDWARD KETTLEBURN, son of John
Kettleburn of Cropwell Bishop, Notts., was bapt. at Cropwell Bishop, 4 Jul
1602. On the baptism, his name was recorded as Edmond, but it seems very likely
that this baptism refers to him. He was buried at Tollerton, Notts., 20 Feb
1671.
He married, by 1630, ANN ___, who was buried at Cotgrave, Notts., 19 May 1669.
Edward and Ann evidently lived in Cotgrave. He moved from Cotgrave to Tollerton between his wife's death and the time of his own burial. This may have been to live with his daughter Ann, who married a man from Tollerton, or with his son Edward, who moved there from Cotgrave to Tollerton at about the same time.

1. MICHAEL KETTLEBURN, bapt. 28 Oct 1630; prob. the Michael Kettleburn who m. at Cotgrave, 4 May 1663, KATHARINE MARTIN. This could also have been Michael, son of Michael (see above), especially considering the name Nicholas, but the locations of residence more strongly suggest this family. Children of Michael and Katharine (Martin) Kettleburn:

b. MICHAEL KETTLEBURN, bapt. at Tollerton, 7 Dec 1667.
c. NICHOLAS KETTLEBURN, bapt. at Tollerton, 27 Jan 1672; buried there 7 Jul 1676.
2. ELIZABETH KETTLEBURN, bapt. 20 Dec 1634.
3. ANN KETTLEBURN, bapt. 18 Feb 1638/9; m. at Tollerton, Notts., 26 Nov 1663, ROBERT KIRKBY.
+4. EDWARD KETTLEBURN, bapt. 12 Sep 1641; buried at Tollerton, 4 May 1708; m. first at Cotgrave, 31 Jan 1667, ELIZABETH RIGHT, who was buried at Cotgrave 25 Nov 1667. He m. second at Tollerton, 24 Apr 1669, ELLEN REST, widow of GEORGE WARD of Tollerton. She was buried at Tollerton, 5 Mar 1706.
