Fearever Pacy

Fearever Pacy

FEAREVER PACY was buried at Elston Chapel, Notts., 8 Nov 1679. He may be the father of Robert Pacy of Tollerton, but so far there is no definite proof -- his information has been entered here as a possibility.

He married, first, at Elston Chapel, Notts., ELIZABETH MERRIWETHER, who was buried at Elston Chapel, 14 Feb 1653/4.

He married, second, by 1655, FAITH ___, who was buried at Elston Chapel 27 Sep 1662.

He left a will naming his two sons John and Robert, who are stated to be unmarried at the time of the writing of the will (1679). Since there is no further record of them in Elston parish, it is possible that they are the Robert Pacy who married at Tollerton in 1681, and the John Pacy of Tollerton, who was one of the bondsmen at the death of Robert. Since John was not a son of Robert, it seems likely that he was a brother.
