HANS SCHLAAFF was born, perhaps in Storckau, 29 Oct 1668
(by subtraction of his age at death from his date of death). He died in Zscherben
1 Apr 1749 at 3 p.m., age 80 years, 5 months, and 3 days. He was buried 3 Apr
1749 "Hanß Schlaaff, widower Nachbar and Einwohner in Zscherben."
He married in Zscherben 20 Oct 1696 Jungfrau ANNA SULTZER, daughter of Andreas Sultzer of Zscherben. On the marriage record Hans is called "Hanß Schlaff of Storchau." None of the children of this couple are recorded in the baptismal register of Zscherben, so it is possible that the couple continued to live in Storckau, only later moving to Zscherben. The death of Anna is recorded: "Frau Anna, wife of Hanß Schlaaff, Nachbar and Einwohner in Zscherben, age 69" on 28 Oct 1739. She was buried 30 Oct.
I found no other Schlaaff records in Zscherben.
Known child of Hans Schlaaff and Anna Sultzer:
1. ANNA SCHLAAFF, born (by subtraction) 9 Jan 1707; died in Zscherben 20 Jun 1748, age 41 years, 5 months and 11 days; married in Zscherben 22 Jul 1737, CHRISTOPH TROMMER. Called eldest daughter of Hanß Schlaaff of Zscherben on the marriage record.
