MICHAEL KETTLEBURN, bapt. 6 Nov 1603; buried at Cotgrave, Notts., 12 Dec 1678; m. at St. Mary's, Nottingham, 27 Jan 1637/8, MARGARET ___, widow of ___ SARE or SOARE; she was buried at Cropwell Bishop, 29 Oct 1645. On the marriage license, he was called Michael Kettlebarne of Cotgrave, laborer. She was called Joane Sare of the same, widow. This was evidently a mistake, however, since on the marriage record in St. Mary's she was Margaret Soare, and on the baptisms of their children in Cotgrave, her name was Margaret. He was probably the same Michael Kettleburn who married, by 1654, DOROTHY ___. Their children were recorded at Cropwell Bishop. She was buried at Cropwell Bishop, 21 Jul 1664.

10. ANDREW KETTLEBURN, bapt. 16 Jan 1616/7; m. first, at Cropwell Bishop, 6 May 1641, DOROTHY RICHARDS, who was buried at Cropwell Bishop, 21 Sep 1666. He married second, at Cropwell Bishop, 11 Apr 1672, ANN TYRPIN. On the second marriage, his name was given as Kettleband.
