JOHN NOTT, son of John Nott and Ann ___, was born at Wethersfield, CT, 10 Jan 1650/1 and died there, 21 May 1710.
He married, at Wethersfield, CT, 28 Mar 1683, PATIENCE MILLER, daughter of William Miller and Patience ___, who was born in Northampton, MA, 15 Sep 1657. She was certainly living in 1737, when she asked that her right of dower in her husband's estate be set off to her. She is said to have died at Saybrook, CT, after 1745.
They lived in Wethersfield. He was hayward in 1702.
He died intestate; inventory of his estate was taken 27 Jun 1710, valued at £624-01-09. Administration was granted to his widow and son John. There was some conflict over the years about the setting out of the bounds of the land each of the heirs was to have of their father's lot.

JONATHAN NOTT, b. at Wethersfield, CT, 4 Jun 1685; d. at Wethersfield, CT, 30 Mar 1773; m. first, at Wethersfield, 3 Apr 1707, SARAH DIX, daughter of Samuel Dix and Mary Collins, who was born at Wethersfield, 6 Jun 1685 and d. there 30 Jun 1757; he m. second, at Farmington, CT, 15 Dec 1757, SARAH HUBBARD.
3. WILLIAM NOTT, b. at Wethersfield, CT, 19 Nov 1686; d. at Stepney, CT 24 Nov 1737; buried at Rocky Hill, CT; m. first, at Wethersfield, CT, 2 Feb 1710, ELIZABETH HALL, daughter of John Hall and Rebina ___, who was bp. at Wethersfield, 25 Feb 1691 and d. at Wethersfield, 3 May 1733. He m. second, by 1735, ABIGAIL GIBBS, widow of LEONARD DIX, daughter of Sgt. Jacob Gibbs. After William's death, she remarried JONATHAN BLYN, son of Peter Blyn of Hartford.
4. THOMAS NOTT, b. at Wethersfield, CT, 1 Oct 1688; d. 1709/10; unmarried.
5. NATHANIEL NOTT, b. at Wethersfield, CT, 18 Apr 1691; d. at East Guilford, CT, Nov/Dec 1747; m. first, HANNAH GILBERT, daughter of Benjamin Gilbert and Mary Riley, who was born 13 Mar 1688/9. He m. second, at Killingworth, CT, 2 Jul 1726, HANNAH BISHOP, daughter of Daniel Bishop and Hannah Bradley, who was born at Guilford, CT, 14 May 1689 and d. at Guilford, 27 Jul 1762.
6. GERSHOM NOTT, b. at Wethersfield, CT, 19 Mar 1693; d. at Wethersfield, 17 Sep 1772; m. at Wethersfield, 17 Sep 1721, SARAH WATERHOUSE, daughter of Abraham Waterhouse and Hannah Starke, who was born at Saybrook, CT, 15 Aug 1702 and d. at Wethersfield, 1 Mar 1779.
7. THANKFUL NOTT, b. at Wethersfield, CT, 6 Feb 1694/5; m. at Wethersfield, 22 Dec 1725, WILLIAM BLINN, son of Peter Blinn and Joanna ___, who was born at Wethersfield, 1 Jul 1675. He had married, first, 13 Nov 1701, ANNA COLTMAN, with whom he had had 7 children.
8. ABRAHAM NOTT, b. at Wethersfield, CT, 29 Jan 1696/7; d. at Saybrook, CT, 24 Jan 1756; m. at East Hampton, Long Island, 8 Oct 1722, PHEBE TOPPING of Bridgehampton, Long Island, daughter of John Topping. She was born about 1699 and had been married, first, to ___ SKELLINX. After Abraham's death, she m. third, in June 1758, Lt. JOHN CLARKE of Saybrook, CT. Abraham graduated from Yale in 1720, and was a minister in the Congregational Church.
9. ANN NOTT, b. at Wethersfield, CT, 29 Jul 1699; d. at Wethersfield, 9 Oct 1769; m. at Wethersfield, 29 Dec 1729, THOMAS HARRIS, son of Daniel Harris and Abigail Barnes, who was born 1695 and died in Wethersfield, in the spring of 1774.
