ROBERT LEESON of Tollerton, Notts., was buried at Tollerton, 10 Feb 1569.
He married, at Cropwell Bishop, 15 Jan 1563, MARGARET MABBATT, daughter of Richard Mabbatt.
He left a will dated 9 Feb 1571, in which he named his wife and his children Richard Leeson, William Leeson, Agnes Leeson and "one which my wife is withall." Executor was his wife Margaret, with his father-in-law Richard Mabott and brother Richard Leeson to be supervisors. Witnesses were William Moore, Mr. Henry Pendocke, Richard Mabett, Thomas Lovat, Rychard Leeson, and William Leeson. The will was proved 23 Apr 1572.
Evidently there is an error either in the date of his burial and the baptism of his son Robert, or in his will -- they should probably both be 1569/70 or 1571/2.

3. AGNES LEESON, bapt. at Tollerton, Nottinghamshire, in Nov 1565; buried at Tollerton, 14 Sep 1598; m. at Tollerton, 7 Dec 1590, WILLIAM LOVET. He was probably a son of Thomas Lovett, husbandman of Tollerton, who mentioned his son William in his will (dated 26 Jun 1588). Robert Lovett, who was another son of Thomas, mentioned his sister-in-law Agnes Lovett in his will (dated 1591). Children of William Lovet and Ann/Agnes Leeson:
