LAST WILL AND TESTAMENT
MARY FOULKROD

April 3, 1856

 

I Mary Foulkrod of the Twenty Third Ward of the City of Philadelphia being in good health of body and of sound and disposing mind and memory, do make and publish this my Last Will and Testament, hereby revoking all former Wills, Testaments, Legacies and Executors by me heretofore made ratifying and confirming this, no other to be my Last Will and Testament.

In the first place it is my Will and I do order that all my just debts and funeral charges (including the expense of respectable tomb stones) be fully paid and satisfied by my Executors hereinafter named as soon after my decease as conveniently may be.

Secondly, all of my Estate which may be left after paying the above mentioned charges I give and bequeath unto my four children namely John Foulkrod, Sarah Cuckle, Isaac Foulkrod, and Jacob B. Foulkrod share and share alike to them and to their several and respective heirs and assigns forever.

Lastly, I nominate and appoint my sons Isaac Foulkrod and Jacob B. Foulkrod Executors of this my Last Will and Testament.

In witness whereof, I, Mary Foulkrod, the Textatrix have hereunto set my hand and seal this Third day of April Anno Domini One Thousand Eight hundred and Fifty six.
