Mr. and Mrs. Ray Delaplane of Denver, CO, visited with Dr. and Mrs. Schroeder this week. Mrs. Delaplane is a cousin of Mrs. Schroeder and of her sisters Rosa and Etta Risser. They stayed at the Doctor Schroder home, the Risser home is undergoing extensive repairs.

The Dr. Risser residence which has been completely remodeled this summer has been opened as a nursing home with hospital facilities for obstetrics, minor surgery and medical patients. The first patient to register was Mrs. Doris Bauer of Pana who underwent a tonsil operation Tuesday morning. The facilities offered by this little hospital should prove to be a great convenience to this community.
