William E. Plumstead
Willliam Ernest Plumstead, 78 of R2 Paris, died Monday in the Brandford General Hospital. He had farmed for several years at Reidsville, was in the construction business in Ayr and vicinty, member of the Canadian Order of Foresters, and served as elder for Knox United Church, Ayr, for a numberjof years. Surviving, besides his wife, the former Mae Lane, are three sons, William and Stuart R2 Paris, Donald of Paris three daughters, Mrs. Gordon (Ada) Marshall of R2 Ayr, Mrs.Ernest (Lottie) Mabee of Galt, Miss Merle Plumstead of Paris; one brother Arthur of Totonto; one sister, Mrs. William (Ruth)Ashton of Oakland, Calif.; 12 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. Mr Plumstead will be at the Cumming and Glaves Funeral Home, Paris for service Thursday at 2:30 p.m. Interment will be in Paris Cemetery, Rev. Dr. Andrew Denholm will officiate.
