This cemetery was located eleven miles east of Hallett in Section 5, Township 20N, Range 9 East of the Indian Meridian.
It is believed there were originally eighty-three graves.
When the Keystone Lake was constructed, the cemetery had to be moved.
Interment was made in a cemetery situated 1.2 miles south of Cleveland on highway 64. It was relocated with the Bear Creek Cemetery. The Dixie Cemetery is the north section of the present cemetery.
The cemetery is in active use at this time.
