James Hooten was born 1834 (1870 census) or 1840 (1880 census) in Middle Tennessee and died Bet. 1890 - 1900.
The only James Hooten I find that could be him in the (1850 census) is the son of Littletin Hooten
There is another James in the 1850 census born 1841 but they lived in Texas in 1850 and I don't think this is him. I find no James's born in 1834 in this census.

She was born 8/15/1840 in Monroe Twp., Hardin County, Illinois, and died 7/08/1889 in Hardin County, Illinois.

Laura Hooten died young.

Ida Hooten was born 11/26/1909 in Hardin County, Illinois and died on 10/26/2003 in Gary, Lake County, Indiana. She married James Eli Cunningham on 5/21/1929 in Lake County, Indiana. He was born 8/22/1904 and died 12/14/1967 in Gary, Lake County, Indiana
Nora Lee Hooten was born 4/11/1914 in Hardin County, Illinois. She married Oscar Cunningham he was born 9/01/1902 and died 11/07/1969 in Gary, Lake County, Indiana
Oscar and James Cunningham were brothers
