Felix Victor Charles Rocheleau was born 8/2/1849 in St. Andrew, Canada and died 7/22/1937 in Algona, Kossuth County, Iowa. He married (1) Mary Ann Gosline born 1857 and died 10/30/1882 in Milwaukee, Milwaukee County, Wisconsin. He married (2) Mary Christinsen born 12/13/1864 in Denmark and died 11/6/1955 in Algona, Kossuth County, Iowa
Felix Rocheleau was born in Canada and settled in Wisconsin during the 1870s, he was a blacksmith. His wife, Mary Gosline (also spelled Gosselin and Goslin), was born in New York about 1858. Her father was from Canada, and her mother was from New York. The first Rocheleau children were born in Wisconsin; Florence about 1873, and Bertha about 1876, around 1877, the family moved to Texas, evidently to Hill County, which is between Fort Worth and Waco. There, in August 1878, Mary was born. Sometime before 1893, the family returned to Wisconsin and settled in Sherman, Clark County, Wisconsin
One wonders why the family moved from Wisconsin to Texas and then back again, it's hard to imagine two more different environments. The explanation may lie in Felix's occupation as a blacksmith. It was a very mobile profession, and he could pursue opportunities wherever they arose.

Bertha May Rocheleau was born 10/15/1876 in Spencer, Marathon County, Wisconsin and died on 2/2/1949. She married Louis Hebert 6/12/1892, He was born 5/25/1867, and died on 4/4/1951.
Mary Elizabeth Rocheleau was born 8/30/1878 in San Gabriel, Milam County, or Austin, Travis County, Texas and died 7/2/1949 in Gary, Lake County, Indiana. She married Charles Michael DuVall, Jr. 6/18/1892 in Colby, Clark County, Wisconsin at St. Mary's Catholic Church, he was the son of Charles DuVall and Sarah St. Aubin. He was born 12/19/1872 in Unity, Clark County, Wisconsin and died 2/12/1963 in Gary, Lake County, Indiana.

She married Frederick Jacob Dietsche 9/4/1902 in Loyal, Clark County, Wisconsin at St. Balthasar's Catholic Church, he was born 5/24/1875 in School Hill, Manitowoc County, Wisconsin and died 10/12/1965 in Stevens Point, Portage County, Wisconsin at St. Michael's Hospital. They are buried at St. Steven's Catholic Cemetery, Stevens Point, Portage County, Wisconsin. Their home in South Abbotsford burned on April 9, 1926. They moved from Abbotsford, WI to Stevens Point, WI on January 18, 1961
