In memory of
Mary
daughter of Joseph
and Elizabeth Whiteley
of Wakefield,
who died December 17th
1852.
Aged 18 years.
During this short span, she bore 13 years
of affliction with the utmost patience,
"Till Christ the Lord released her of her pain."
Also of Elizabeth, mother of
the above, who died June 24th
1853, aged 43 years.
I was so long with pain oppressed,
it wore my strength away,
it made me long for endless rest,
which never can decay.
Also of the above named
Joseph Whiteley,
who died February 2nd 1856,
aged 56 years.
