JOHN DALY
(1807-1881)
ISABELL
McBREEN (1818-1859)
John Daley was born and raised somewhere in Ireland. It is not known where
he and Isabell were married but their first two children were born in Ireland.
Some time in the late 1840s John and Isabell emigrated to the U.S. and by
1853 this family was residing in Ohio. By 1856 the family had moved to Minnesota
and was settled on a farm located in Eagan Twp. Isabell appears to have had
a brother who also located in Eagan. This brother must have died because
his children were raised by John and Isabell. Some time in the early 1860s,
John purchased a farm in Lebanon Twp. of Dakota Co. and moved the family
from Eagan. He and his wife remained on this farm until their respective
deaths. Both John and Isabell are buried in Highland Cemetery in Lakeville
Twp. MN.

Mary apparently set up housekeeping on a farm in Empire where they remained
until Mary's untimely death.

in Strokestown Co. Roscommon Ireland and came to Minnesota to live with one
of her relatives who settled in near by Rosemount. She must have met Patrick
