Nothing is known about John except except that he was the father of Patrick and was a native of County Kilkenny Ireland. He was thought ot have been born around 1784 but this has not been confirmed. It is not known when or where he died. Nothing is known about his wife.

Nothing is known about Bridget. Old records appear to identify a Bridget Quigley in relation to Patrick and it is assumed that she is a sister. There was also a Mrs. William Fewer that may have been related. William settled in Eagle Creek in Scott Co. and his wife's maiden name was Quigley. A William Fewer was listed as residing with the Patrick Quigley family in the 1880s and this may have been a nephew. There were other Quigley families in Minnesota by the late 1850s and some of them may have been related. There is however no evidence of this at this time.

Patrick was born and raised in Co. Killkenny Ireland and immigrated to Canada about 1850. In 1855 he came to Minnesota and setteled at Crow Village and moved subsequently to Eagan. He also is said to have resided in Galena Illinios for a while before moving to Minnesota. The earliest record available for Patrick is the record of his marriage which was performed in 1852 by a priest from the Cathedral of St. Paul. He and his wife remained in St. Paul until 1854 when Dakota Co. opened up for settlement. At that time, Patrick made a claim in Eagan Twp. where he farmed and raised a large family.

Patrick's wife had a brother that also moved to Dakota County and made a claim in Lakeville area. After his death, his family moved back to St. Paul and sold this farm to Patrick. Patrick remained on the original homestead and had his eldest sons operate the Lakeville farm. Patrick died in 1894. And is buried at Mendota. His wife survived him by several years. When she died, she was buried beside her husband in the family plot.

Patrick was the oldest child of Patrick and Margaret. He was born in St. Paul and moved to Eagan MN with his family while still a small child. John was raised on the family farm and moved to a farm in Lakeville which his father had acquired after his uncle's death. In 1881 he was married and began to raise a family on this land. His wife was born and raise on a farm in Lakeville MN near the one being worked by Patrick and his brothers.

Patrick was born and raised on the family homestead in Eagan MN. He was married in 1889 and took over this farm after his father retired. His wife was born in Rosemount soon after her parents settled in the area.

Thomas was born and raised in Eagan. Shortly after his marriage in 1903. Thomas and his wife moved to St. Paul where the were living in 1910.
