Lewis FRIESNER, (Jacob) was born in Liberty Twp., Fairfield Co., OH 1 July 1838. Lewis died 21 January
1915 in Rockwell City, Calhoun Co., IA, at 76 years of age. His body was interred 22 January 1915 in
Rockwell City, Calhoun Co., IA.
He married Mary REEMER in Coles Co., IL, 28 August 1858. Mary was born in Coles Co., IL 14 August 1840. Mary was the daughter of Nathaniel REEMER and Mary DAUGHETTE. Mary died 18 February 1925 in Rockwell City, Calhoun Co., IA, at 84 years of age. Her body was interred 20 February 1925 in Calhoun Co., IA.
Sometime after 1860 Lewis headed west from Coles Co., IL. Lewis is still in Coles County in 1860. We are unable to find him in the 1870 census. In 1880 Lewis was living next door to his brother, Levi in Labette Co., KS. Sometime between 1880 and 1900, he moved to Calhoun Co., IA which is right next door to Sac Co., IA where Henry had been living since before 1870. The two families must have interacted a good amount as Henry's son, Andrew, was married to Matilda Cleveland at his Uncle Lewis' home.

2. Charles Luther FRIESNER was born in Charleston, Coles Co., IL 29 June 1861. Charles died 4 February 1948 in Rockwell City, Calhoun Co., IA, at 86 years of age. He married Evangeline POOLER in Calhoun Co., IA, 30 March 1925. Evangeline was born in Allamakee Co., IA 6 November 1875. Evangeline was the daughter of Hiram POOLER and Mary PRIOR. Evangeline died 28 January 1959 in Calhoun Co., IA, at 83 years of age. They had no children
3. Mary Ellen FRIESNER was born 22 March 1864.
4. Edward FRIESNER was born 13 September 1865.
5. Ann M. FRIESNER was born in Linn Co., MO 7 June 1867. Ann died in 1966 at 99 years of age. She married John SOEDT in Rockwell City, Calhoun Co., IA, 20 April 1896. John was born in Holstein, Germany. John is the son of Henry SOEDT. They had no children.
6. William Henry FRIESNER was born in Labette Co. KS 10 November 1872. William died 17 August 1950 in Ft. Dodge, Webster Co., IA, at 77 years of age. He married Harriet CHESTNUTWOOD 1908. Harriet died
11 February 1938 in Lavinia, Calhoun Co., IA. They had no children
