My FROMAN family helped settle the Shennandoah Valley in Virginia. They then moved on to Kentucky, then to Missouri, where some went on to Oregon. My family stayed to raise their families in Missouri.
My immediate FROMAN family moved to Texas in 1948. I left for awhile, but came back to Texas, and I'll probably be here forever.
I would like to acknowledge my new found cousins for all their help in sending me information on my family. PAT RICHLEY (of DearMYRTLE fame) for all the trouble she went to in sending me tons of information on our FROMAN line.
I would also like to thank HERBERT LEWIS who sent me loads of information on our GIST line.
I would also like to thank the wonderful people at HeadstoneHunters.com for helping get pictures of my ancestors grave sites and headstones.
I will be updating my site as I find new information, so please check back with me to see the new info and new photos.
I hope my page will be informative and will help someone out there who has been searching for that elusive ancestor.
Much thanks for stopping to check out my site. Please sign my guest book or send me an email to let me know your comments.
