From our President
Bill Eddleman
We also have a few challenges to consider at our meeting on 22-24 June in Texas. Chief among these is what to do about the reunion. Several options have been mentioned before (continue with formal annual reunions, have a formal reunion every two years and and informal one in theoffyears, or have annual, less formal get-togethers). We do not lack for places to have reunions, given the many and varied migrations of the family. What we do lack is people commited to hosting the reunion. Give these matters some serious thought, andbring your ideas to this years business meeting. I wish to continue as newsletter editor, but PLEASE, consider being an officer for your family association
Hope, Chris, and I will be in Paris on Thursday, to help out Chris and Rex Wilson with final arrangements. Both of them have been working hard to make this an informative and enjoyable get-together. Ill look forward to greeting every one of you, renewing our friendships, and listening to your ideas. For those of you who cant make it--well miss you, and hope you can make it to future reunions.
Lastly, thanks to all those who provided material for this newsletter, including Vera Harrill, Chris Wilson, Paul Fullbright, and Ed Stout. A special thanks to David and Patricia Herd for publishing the newsletter for the last two years.Lets hear from some more of you about your families! Have a happy and healthy summer, and keep in touch!
