           This 120-page book, Original Land Patentees of Laclede County, Missouri, contains names of all those who purchased land in Laclede County from the federal government, the date of the land patent, document and file number, and location of the land. There is also an introduction explaining land records, and maps illustrate the locations covered in the text. There is an every-name index.. The cost is $17.50, postpaid.            A second book, Deed Abstracts of Haywood Co., North Carolina, Books A-C, 1809-1829 will be available at the Lake Junalusca reunion. The anticipated cost at the reunion  is $25, or $28 by mail.
