As part of our effort to raise funds to support the newsletter and the reunions, the FFA President Bill Eddleman has compiled a 120-page book of original Laclede County land patents for sale. The book, Original Land Patentees of Laclede County, Missouri, contains names of all those who purchased land in Laclede County from the federal government, the date of the land patent, document and file number, and location of the land. Their is also an introduction explaining land records, and maps illustrate the locations covered in the text. There is an every-name index. The book will cost $15 at the reunion, and $15 plus $2.50 shipping and handling via mail order. Plans are to produce about one book per year, and emphasize providing transcriptions of original records in counties that pertain to the Fulbright family. The next book will be a book of deed abstracts for Haywood Co., NC, with plans to have this available at next year�s FFA reunion.
