We are having our annual Fulbright family reunion on Sept 1,1991. It is to be at the High School cafeteria in Mt. Pleasant, Arkansas, which is located about 18 miles north of Batesville. All are invited to come! Bring a covered dish. From 9:30 AM 'til when ever. Hope to see you there!

NOTICE
by Nancy Jeffryes Membership Secretary

I would like to remind any new members of the FULBRIGHT FAMILY ASSOCIATION who DIDN T give us a family chart to please send one to us as soon as possible. This is important to help us keep accurate records for the family history.

If you know of any family member who doesn't receive one of these newsletters please let me know their address so that I can add them to our mailing list.

Also, many have asked who was playing the piano so well at the reunion. If you know who it was could you let me know? We all believe that we have many family members who have similar talents. We would like have some of you share your talents with us at the next reunion! If you know of a family member with musical or some other hidden talent, let me know!

My job at a nearby university involves working with personal computers, so I find it useful to be a member of CompuServe, the electronic information service. CompuServe provides a lot of services, including electronic shopping, financial information as well as electronic mail, or "e-mail". Just for fun, I checked the member directory and found 7 other Fulbrights were CompuServe members. I thought that for those of us who are members of CompuServe it would be a good way to get to know our computer literate relatives to keep in touch.

If you have a computer and are interested in joining or want some information about computer services like CompuServe, please drop me aline. My address is:  1202 Lone Oak Road Johnson City, TN 37604.

If you're already a member, you can leave me a note in my "e-mail" box.

[Editor's note: Another computer service is Prodigy which has five Fulbrights listed as members.]

NOTICE
by Ed Stout of Fallbrook, Ca.

After the 1991 Fulbright family reunion I received much interest in the biographical sketches by John William Fulbright which were written after the 1929 Fulbright gathering in Springfield, Missouri of which I have an original copy. I have retyped, xeroxed, indexed and bound these original sketches and would like to distribute these to anyone who is interested for a $20.00 donation to the FULBRIGHT FAMILY ASSOCIATION.

This bound edition includes sixty-three pages of family sketches, plus a five page index. Each purchase will benefit the FULBRIGHT FAMILY ASSOCIATION.

Also available is the June 1991 version of the family chart shown at the recent reunion It includes a thirty page genealogical chart of the Fulbright family and a twenty-five page surname to key number index. I am continuing to work on updating this chart, after getting a lot of information and interest at the recent reunion, however it will be some time before all that information can be compiled and added to the chart. In the meantime, since I received so much interest in the chart at the reunion, the current bound version is offered for a $20.00 donation to the FULBRIGHT FAMILY ASSOCIATION.

If you are interested in getting either of these bound publications and at the same time benefitting the association can send a check for your donation of $20.00 for each copy desired, made payable to the FULBRIGHT FAMILY ASSOCIATION to:
