DAVE'S DESK

I have wonderful news for those who like the newsletter. We have help! Brett Jeffryes from Springfield, Missouri has volunteered to enter copy into his fine Amiga system, add graphics, do general layout, and print the original hard copy of the newsletter. He has fine computer skills and will add a new dimension to this whole enterprise, we have not had. (This is not meant to disparage Jean and others who have put great effort into the newsletter in the past. It is simply a fact. Brett has skills and access to equipment most of us don't have.) His help came at a critically important time. I am teaching six days a week, doing my normal counseling, trying to stay involved with my church, and trying to pick up on a new computer system. I have found my load to be too heavy to devote much time to the computer system. I doubt I will have the time to become truly competent in using the computer with various software before next spring.

Brett volunteering was absolutely providential. David and Pat Herd and David's brother Tom have volunteered to help with the printing and mailing of the newsletter. Carl Mounce has also volunteered to assist in the latter stages of production. It is a good staff.

What we need from you is your writing your "stuff." We need family history, current information for the bulletin board, genealogical inquiries, and anything else which relates to the Fulbright family. Our next newsletter will go into production around January 15, 1994.

Please send your articles to: David Fulbright.

Have a good Thanksgiving and Christmas. We shall begin publishing after January 1, 1994.

It is great to be related to you,

David!
