North Carolina

The following is for those of you in North Carolina who would like to come to the reunion and is sent in by Judy Fulbright.

DEAR FULBRIGHT FAMILY AND FRIENDS.

HELLO! I hope you have received the information for the FULBRIGHT REUNION this summer in Springfield, MO.

Many folks expressed a great inteiest in attending the reunion this year and that is the purpose for my letter. I've contacted several bus/tour companies for a group package. WHAT FUN! A WHOLE BUS LOAD OF FAMILY MEMBERS HEADING WEST!! MUCH LIKE OUR ANCESTORS 200 YEARS AGO.

Ray Hammett gave me the best package. Keep in mind when reviewing these quotes that they will vary depending on the number of people that plan to attend The package includes:

-A full size passenger coach with restroom facilities onboard.

-Two nights stayover. One for the trip enroute to Springfield and one for the return trip. You will need to make your individual reservations in Springfield for the reunion.

-Sunday afternoon in Branson, Mo. You will be responsible for the cost of any performance that you would like to attend. I've included this because it is only an hour from Springfield and it will be a good time to see a matinee show or just see Branson.

No. of people Cost per person

       25            $175.00
       30             150.00
       35             135.00
       40             125.00
       45             115.00

You can see the more the merrier and the less expensive for all of us. Please share this information with others and plan to come along!

Of course, the only way to know who wants to attend is to ask for a deposit of $25.00 for each person no later that May 15. If we have enough to lease the bus (a minimum of 25), I' ll recontact you for the remaining balance. Keep in mind, that the most the trip will cost will be $175.00.

Here's a tentative itinerary: Thursday, June 24: Depart Hickory, area Spend 1st night in Paduka, KY. Friday, June 25 Leave Paduka and arrive in Springfield approx. 2pm Friday night; and Saturday: REUNION ACTIVITIES AND VISITING WITH FAMILY MEMBERS FROM ALL OVER! Sunday, June 27: Attend church services for those that wish to do so. Then leave Springfield for an afternoon in Branson. After some time in Branson, we'd be on the road again and spend over night in Weatley, AR.

If you would like to talk to me more about the trip, please feel free to call my home or you may call me at work. Several of us attended the reunion in 1991 and it was WONDERFUL, these Fulbrights are just like us!

I look forward to hearing from you,
Your Fulbright Cousin,
Judy Fulbright
