You Won't Want To Miss The Fun!!

Plans for our reunion for descendants of John William Fulbright (Johann Wilhelm Volprecht) and Andrew Fulbright (Andreas Volprecht) is well under way. The reunion time and location were chosen by over 250 Fulbright descendants at our June, 1991 reunion in Springfield MO. At that meeting, the decision was made to seek a place for our next reunion that would enable us to do everything under one roof. We have found such a place. We look forward to a much larger reunion than the highly successful 1991 gathering.

We have a block of 68 rooms reserved. There are 48 at the Quality Inn and 20 more at the Super 8 Motel which is next door. The rate is $47.00 per night, single or double. A couple may have their children to age 18 without additional charge. Two singles may also occupy a room at that cost. ALL RESERVATIONS MUST BE MADE BY JUNE 11, 1993. After that, the rooms will no longer be held for our family. All reservations which are to be held until after 6:00 PM on June 25 must be make with credit cards. Your toll free reservation hot line for the Qualitv Inn North is 1-800-955-1833. You may want to make your reservations early as there are several other events and conventions going on in Springfield that weekend.

Only the Saturday evening dinner wilt require a reservation. This meal is the one which enables us to use the motel's meeting rooms free of charge. The cost of each ticket covers both your meal and the reunion registration cost. An adult ticket is $13.50. A child s ticket (under 12) is $10.50. You may make your reservation in advance by sending your check and enclosed form to the Fulbright Family Association. P. O. Box 3982 GS. Springfield. MO 65808-3982. The deadline for reservations is Friday, June 25, but we hope you will not wait that late to purchase your tickets as we will be making name tags and reunion packages from the meal reservations. Those living in or near Springfield also need to make your reservations early.

Please bring your family charts, pictures. artifacts. memorabilia, or other items that you would like to display and share. There will be a limited number of tables available for this.

The late Dorothy Schaper suggested something we are going to try this year - if you have a hobby like making craft items, woodwork, painting, etc. and would like to bring a sample of your talent with us. please bring it!

If you would like, you may donate a sample of your work for our silent auction to help raise funds for future projects and reunions.

Reunion T-Shirts are being made. They will be pale grey with Royal blue lettering. If you order now the cost is $10.00. at the reunion they will cost $12.00 each. To order yours now fill out enclosed form. If you want a special size, order it now only L, XL, and XXL sizes will be available at reunion.
