The following article is from February 1, 1995, issue of "The Gazette" that is published in Greenwood Arkansas. It speaks for itself.

If you ask Dr. Arthur Fulbright what the one driving force in his life was, he's say without a pause; God.

Dr. Fulbright has served God all of his life. He can't remember a time that he didn't want to.

Dr. Fulbright holds several seminary degrees and has served as a Methodist pastor for most of his life.

"I love helping people make the right decisions in their life," Dr. Fulbright said. "If you have trust in God, all things will be well."

Over the course of his service, Dr. Fulbright has been given many honors and awards, including national recognition, but he says his greatest accomplishment is to watch a young man grow into a religious adult.

"By the Grace of God, we can have full lives," Dr. Fulbright said.

Dr. Fulbright is a veteran of W.W.II and a member of several veterans associations. He is married to Geraldine and together they live in a home in Shadow Lake.

After serving in the ministry for so many years, Dr. Fulbright chose Greenwood to settle in. His daughter Marilyn Clements and grandson Ron and Ragon Clements are active members of the Greenwood community.

Even during retirement, Dr. Fulbright finds the time to counsel patients at the Phillips Cancer House, help minister at the United Methodist Church and be an active member in the Shadow Lake Association which is trying to become a part of Greenwood.

"We can't dwell on our own mortality," Dr. Fulbright said. "We must always stay active in our beliefs and our community and family."

Greenwood is surely a better place with the love of Dr. Fulbright.
