Fulbright Family Archives Room
The Fulbright Family Association pledged $15,000 to fund the Museum's new archives room. The Museum's archival collections contains over 30,000 documents including the largest collection of historic photographs in southwest Missouri. The Fulbright Family Association voted in 1991 to name the History Museum as the official repository for Fulbright Family materials. The association then increased their support to become the sole sponsor of the Museum's new, expanded archives. This generous gift has enabled the Museum to complete the necessary structural modifications as well as install the appropriate professional archival storage equipment and materials. The Museum is grateful for this generous pledge. To date the Fulbright Family Association has pledged $15,060 and the Museum has received $13,470.
