David and Patricia Herd recently talked with Betty Beck of Springfield, Missouri. Betty and her husband, James E. Beck were married 50 years at Christmas,1995. James passed away on April 6, 1996. She has traveled since that time. One of her trips has been written up by the media in Springfield. She took a unique trip to Scotland. Her husband's nephew, Larry Farmer, a resident of London, England, arranged a trip to Scotland for 37 family members. They traveled together and stayed at a 14 bedroom home while in Nigg Scotland.
