BOARD MEETING OF THE FULBRIGHT FAMILY ASSOCIATION
MINUTES FOR JUNE 26, 1998

The board meeting of the Fulbright Family Association was called to order at 8:00 PM with prayer by David Fulbright. Minutes of the previous meeting June 26, 1997 were read.

The treasurer reported a balance in the treasury of $3,350.96. A motion was made, seconded and carried to pay any outstanding bills.

A discussion ensued regarding the publication of the newsletter. At this time there are 203 people on the mailing list, including the historical museums, at the end of June. There are to be four publications mailed to membership annually.

There was a discussion regarding a master list of membership. A motion was made by Jean Fulbright that each of the officers be given a copy of the master list to insure that the membership list be preserved. Motion carried.

The subject of placing Fulbright Family Association pictures in the Museum was brought up and those with various pictures volunteered to donate them to the museum.

New Business: David Fulbright reported a change in his employment routine and asked to be relieved of his duties as Editor of the newsletter. Roger and La Neil Gephart have accepted the responsibility of its publication, and Karen McClaren will be an associate editor. Motion was made, seconded and carried that this change take place.

Bill Eddleman reported on his progress with plans for the 1999 reunion to be held at Cape Girardeau, MO. He has reserved the Drury Lodge for the meeting with other plans to follow.

President Catherine Houser announced our visit to the museum on Saturday at 9:30 to 11:00, and lunch to be served at the hotel at 11:30A.M. Dr. Arthur Fulbright will conduct church service at the hotel on Sunday at 10:30 A.M.

There being no further business the meeting was adjourned.
