1. Goddard1 Rockenfeller was born in 1590 in Fahr, Germany. He married Magdalena ---. Five children were known.[1]
5. Johannes2 Rockenfeller (Goddard1) He was born about 1634 in Rockenfeld, Westerwald, Germany, and died 24 August 1684 at Segendorf, Germany. His first wife's name is not known. His second wife was Elizabeth Margaretha Remagen of Segendorf, Germany.[2]
14. Johann Peter3 Rockenfeller (Johannes2, Goddard1) was born in Segendorf, Germany, in 1682. He died in Rocktown, Hunterdon County, New Jersey, between the time he wrote his will on 6 December 1763 and the date it was proved on 16 August 1766. His first marriage was to Anna Maria Remagen (born 1684, died 1719). His second marriage was to Elizabeth Christina Runkel on 29 October 1720.
He immigrated to the United States in 1723. After his arrival he leased a farm near Somerville, New Jersey, for six years. He then purchased a farm in Rocktown, Hunterdon County, New Jersey, where he lived the rest of his life.[3]
25. William4 Rockefeller (Johann Peter3, Johannes2, Goddard1) was born in Rocktown, Hunterdon County, New Jersey, in 1729. He died in 1783 at Rocktown, New Jersey. He married Magdalena Quick (died Lambertsville, Hunterdon Co., New Jersey). During the Revolutionary War, he served in the New Jersey Militia.[4]
27. Andrew5 Rockefeller (William4, Johann Peter3, Johannes2, Goddard1) was born in Rocktown, Hunterdon County, New Jersey, on 10 September 1763. He died at White House, Hunterdon County, New Jersey, on 25 November 1811. He was married to Hannah Hixon on 2 November 1786 at Amwell, New Jersey. She was born on 9 August 1766 and died on 31 January 1853 at White House, Hunterdon County, New Jersey.[5]
39. Abraham6 Rockefeller (Andrew5, William4, Johann Peter3, Johannes2, Goddard1) was born in Somerville, Somerset Co., New Jersey, on 23 July 1788. He died at Ulysses, Tompkins Co., New York, on 16 September 1844. His first marriage was to Mary McK. Welch (died 21 July 1821, Ulysses, New York). His second marriage was to Louise Felps.[6]
53. Eliza7 Rockefeller (Abraham6, Andrew5, William4, Johann Peter3, Johannes2, Goddard1) was born 22 July (1813/1817??) in Trumansburg (or Ulysses), Thompkins Co., New York. She died 16 September 1889 at Lodi (or Monterey, Schulyer County), New York. She married Ezra Darling. He was born 27 April 1815 and died 23 May 1868.
