Sarah Stanfield married  in Tasmania on the 10th June 1816 William Kimberley

    History & Achievements :

He came out on the first fleet, as a convict.  However I have evidence that his first daughter Marie married Daniel Standfield, who was a 1st Royal Marine In the book 'Norfolk Island and its first settlement 1788-1814' by
Raymond Nobbs, it clearly states that Daniel Standfield came free to the colony and was a marine and a member of the 102nd Regiment.  It also states that at one stage he held the second largest land grant, on Norfolk Island, being 120 acres. The following information came from Don Hetherington via Anthony Fletcher; Daniel Standfield and Maria Kimberley lived as man and wife on Norfolk Island but their marriage was not solemnized until they arrived in VDL, were the Rev Robert Knopwood performed the marriage ceremony on the 17th October 1808.  Daniel was granted land next to Edward Kimberley's at Clarence Plains. From Edward Kimberley's will we know that Daniel Standfield was Edward's executor and one of the main beneficiaries from the will.
