60TH ANNIVERSARY - Mr. and Mrs. Oscar Balzen
will be honored with a reception observing their 60th wedding
anniversary. The reception will be held January 27, at the Hamilton
National Bank community room from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. The couple's eight
children and their families will be hosting the event. Oscar Balzen and
Mary Pierce were married Jan. 28, 1930, at Quihi, Texas. They lived near
Adamsville and Evant for a number of years before moving to Hamilton in
1946. The couple's children are Mr. and Mrs. Eddie Balzen of Gatesville,
Mr. and Mrs. Roy (Ruby) Young of Quinlan, Mr. and Mrs. Ray (Mary)
KIncheloe of Odessa, Mr. and Mrs. Bob (Tina) Fischer of Childress, Mr.
and Mrs. Archie Balzen of Plano, Mr. and Mrs. Doug (Peggy) Morgeson of
Temple, Mr. and Mrs. Roy (Lily) Hudson of Hamilton and Mr. and Mrs.
Kenneth Balzen of Hamilton. They also have 21 grandchildren and 25 great
grandchildren. Friends and relatives are invited.
