CARLTON POST OFFICE

 

Carlton Post Office opened 11 March 1879, after being moved from Honey Creek. Francis M. Carlton was the last postmaster at Honey Creek and the first in Carlton. F. M. Carlton was appointed postmaster at Honey Creek on 1 February, 1879, and remained postmaster until 9 March, 1881, when B. F. "Cornelius" Richberg was appointed..
