WILFORD LARIMORE FERGUSSON

Funeral for Mr. Wilford L. Fergusson, 91, of Longview, Texas, will be at 4 p.m. Monday, June 17, 2002 at Cason Monk-Metcalf Sunset Chapel, with the Rev. George T. Jones, pastor of Church of Christ, officiating.  Burial will be at Sunset Memorial Park.

Mr. Fergusson died June 13, 2002, in Longview, TX.

He was born February 17, 1911, in Pottsville, Texas to Luther Guy Fergusson and Annie Sarah Bryan.  He was affiliated with the Church of Christ.  Mr. Fergusson had lived in Longview since 1997, previously living in Nacogdoches and Port Arthur.  He retired in 1973 from Texaco Oil Company in Port Arthur where he worked in the export shipping department for 44 years.  He was preceded in death by his parents, Luther Guy and Annie Sarah Bryan Fergusson.

Survivors include his wife, Demetra "Jerry" Fergusson; one son,Larry Fergusson and his wife Penny; one daughter, Barbara Dunlap; grandsons, Mike Dunlap and wife Denise, and Cody Fergusson; granddaughters Lisa Stuart and husband Britt; Terri Holstead and husband Bruce, Tammie Holt and husband Grant, Laurie Fergusson, and eight great grandchildren. 

Active pallbearers will be Mike Dunlap, Larry Frgusson, Cody Fergusson, Bruce Holstead, and Hal Lister.

Visitation will be from 4 to 6 p.m. today.
