1900--1907
Falls Creek School and community
were named for Falls Creek. The school was situated
between Old Hico and Fairy.
Falls Creek begins thirteen miles northeast of Hamilton. FM
1602 crosses Falls Creek west of Fairy. It enters Bosque
County to empty into the Bosque River
near Iredell.
Falls Creek Baptist Church participated
in the Hamilton County Baptist
Association from 16 August, 1900, until 14 August, 1907, when it
joined the Bosque Association. The congregation of Falls
Creek Baptist Church met in the Falls Creek School.
