GROVE Baptist Church was south of Hico from 1879 until 1891 when it consolidated with the New Hope Baptist Church-1 to become the Leon Baptist Church-2.

Grove Baptist Church was admitted to the Hamilton County Baptist Association on 25 July, 1879.
