Laura Frances Cambron, 85, of 521 East Main in
Hamilton died about 2 p. m. Thursday, August 28 following a lengthy
illness. Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Saturday in the Riley
Funeral Chapel with Rev. Wesley Jones officiating, and burial was in the
I. O. O. F. Cemetery.
She was born March 20, 1895, in McLennan County.
She was the daughter of the late W. E. and Julia Horne. On November
2, 1916, she was married to Robert L. Cambron, and to this union one son
was born but died at birth.
Mrs. Cambron had resided in Hamilton since 1974.
She was a member of the First Baptist Church.
Surviving
are four nieces, Mrs. Truman Grisham of Hamilton, Mrs. Ray Arnold of
Rosenberg, Mrs. Boone Jackson of Wilcox, Ariz., and Mrs. Josephine
Strothers of Houston; four nephews, Ernest Grimm of Aruiaca, Ariz., Loyd
Grimm of Fort Worth, Randall Hill of Hamilton, and Allen Sanders of Fort
Worth; also a number of grandnieces and grandnephews and great grandnieces
and great grandnephews.

Williams, A. H. Bullard, Bomer Harris, L. W. Gardner, Bert Karkalits, and
L. T. Crain.

Burditt Crain was a son of Ambrose Hulon Crain, Sr. and Mildred Mary
"Polly" (Burditt) Crain. Sarah Elvina (Smith) Crain was a
daughter of Gen. James Smith and Hannah (Parker) Smith.
Ambrose
Hulon Crain, Sr. was a son of Joel and Rachel Crain.
Joel
Crain was a son of Ambrose Crain and Elizabeth (Head) Crain.
