My father Thomas Benjamin Keel was born in Missouri but settled in Texas around 1900. He operated a small grocery/general store in Indian Gap around 1900/1903. It still is standing as far as I know. I saw it a couple of years ago and it was filled with hay. I tried to find someone to talk with on my brief visit but there was nobody in sight. Most everything is boarded up.

Very depressing.
